POSITION:
The Department of Sociology invites applications for a FULL-TIME LECTURER appointment for the 2011-2012 academic year. The person appointed to this position will be assigned a full-time load (30 wtu's) of introductory and upper-division undergraduate courses in Sociology. Lower-level courses will include Introduction to Sociology and Intergenerational Experiences; upper-level courses will include The Family, Deviance, Medical Sociology, and Personality and Society. There are no research or service expectations with this position; continued employment will hinge on the quality of your teaching and would be contingent on sufficient budget resources.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
MA in Sociology (ABD status) at time of application; evidence of successful university-level teaching.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D. in Sociology; evidence of accomplished undergraduate teaching.
