The ILR School at Cornell University invites applications for a tenure-line faculty position in Labor Relations at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Department of Labor Relations, Law, and History to begin August 2011. Applicants should have research and teaching interests related to labor relations broadly defined, a Ph.D. in a relevant field such as industrial relations, sociology, political science, economics, organization studies, management, or other related disciplines, and very strong research and teaching potential. Preference will be given to candidates willing and able to teach the department's introductory level course on contemporary U.S. collective bargaining.
