The Sociology-Anthropology Department invites applications for a tenure track position for a sociologist with expertise in the areas of social inequality and sociology of labor beginning September 2011.
Candidate should also be able to teach methods and classical theory to undergraduates. Appointment at the Assistant Professor or Instructor level. Completed Ph.D. at time of appointment preferred. Applicants should provide evidence of scholarly potential and excellent teaching.
Send letter of application, c.v., and contact information for three letters of reference, at least two of which should speak to the candidate’s teaching ability, to Margaret Nelson, Chair, Department of Sociology-Anthropology, Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vermont 05753.
