Position Summary: The Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies (PIIRS) invites applications for a ten-month visiting fellowship focusing on the issue of "democracy and development." Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field and preferably will hold an ongoing position at a university or research institution. Ideal candidates will have both empirical and theoretical scholarly interests. This position is ideal for a junior scholar on half-pay leave from her/his home institution; depending on the successful candidate's salary, the fellowship will provide up to one-half of the academic year salary. Recent Ph.D.'s, who do not hold a full-time position, will also be considered.
