Me, too! Hope to hear something soon, but I think this was a January due date, right?

Me too! Anyone know how many people were asked? Also, what stage in the process is this? Pre-phone interviews? Pre-campus interviews?

I ask because asking me to fill out a take-home essay feels a bit like a phone interview....

Is it me or does the ad make it sound like the last step before hiring is to request more materials from selected candidates? From the job ad: REVIEW PROCESS: Once the closing date or "best consideration date" has passed and an initial screening has been conducted, if you are selected by the committee for further consideration you will be asked to submit the following additional information: 1. Written responses to a set of essay questions. 2. Copies of unofficial transcripts that include: a. Title of the degree earned. b. Date that the degree was conferred. Once the transcript and essay documentation is requested you may have as little as one week to provide the required information. It is strongly suggested that you obtain unofficial copies of your transcripts in anticipation of this request. - All transcripts from institutions outside of the U.S. are required to include an evaluation by a U.S. credential evaluation agency (copy and paste the link www.pcc.edu/hr/employment/faculty-information.html into another browser window for specific instructions). - Applicants Anticipating Degree Completion by September 1, 2011 must supply a letter from his/her university stating the degree title and that the degree will be granted by that date. -Upon hire the selected candidate will be required to supply OFFICIAL copies of transcripts for all degrees earned. - Applicants selected for hire will be required to pass a criminal background check as a condition of employment.

Someone from PCC called today to make sure I was still interested in the job. She told me that the next stage is either phone interviews or campus interviews depending on a number of factors (how many people are still interested and how many people's answers they like).

Any news as to when we'll hear whether or not they liked our responses to the written questions?

On the phone, the HR folks said it would take about a week after the 1/25 deadline. Seems a bit hopeful, though.

A week does sound like pretty quick turn around! I'm not so confident about one of the answers I provided, so I would rather know sooner than later that they hate me and never want to see my name again. I wonder how many people they requested written responses from? If I'm remembering correctly, 3 of us posted on here saying we received that request.

Hey, all. I also received a request to provide written answers. I wish you all luck!

Thanks Rubyreddoc! Best of luck to you too. Btw--I'm having an issue from their academic calendar telling what their semester system is. It looks like the teaching load is 4/4/4 (about two course preps, with one online each semester), but I'm not sure. Any on this thread know?
