The Rice Department of Sociology (http://sociology.rice.edu/) seeks a Quantitative Methodologist with excellent statistical programming, data analysis, and data management skills to fill a staff position. The successful candidate will provide expert consulting and full programming support, as needed, to faculty on their research projects spanning a wide range of sociological inquiry. He/she will work with faculty and graduate students and will assist in the training of graduate students, teaching one graduate student lab course per academic year on data management and analysis using STATA.
